Dr. Shawna Whitehead-Starks
Dr. Shawna Whitehead Starks is passionate about those who are re-entering society. Having worked with over 3,500 justice-involved individuals has led her, as well as her daughter, Ms. Sondya Weddle, to establish the It Takes a Village Foundation Re-Entry Program. They are excited to help these individuals walk in their purpose and destiny.

Sondaya Weddle
In 2017, Ms. Sondaya Weddle helped establish an awesome Pipe Line Re-Entry Curriculum that she has taught for the last three years at the DWD pipeline re-entry program along with Dr. Whitehead Starks. She has a passion to see those who may be “counted out” receive the second chance they deserve. It truly does take a village to be the change we want to see in the community.
